In 2018, I was hired by a United Nations Global Shared Service Centre to develop the quality assurance function and team in their finance department. For 3 of the 5 years, I coordinated the year-end audit of the Finance Section. The assignment was a success and to everyone's satisfaction. The task entrusted to me was an honour and a pleasure. The key to success were: excellent colleagues and a thorough knowledge of the processes.

What is typical of quality assurance

About us

Feedback: " Dóra is motivated by success and passionate about working and achieving higher results. A good example for that is how she created, built and organized the QA structure for the Finance Section and put together the pieces to have a strong and respected Team. It is all her achievement that the Team operates with such a high level of proficiency. She is accounatble for her actions and she persists to complete tasks and responsibilities on time." (UN GSSC Finance, Quality Assurance, team member)

Feedback: "...to me GSSC QA = Dora"  (UN Finance Section, Team lead)

Feedback: "Dóra took over as lead for the QA Team in 2018 and designed the methodology and report portfolio from scratch. ....... Even though she was a promoter of the QA Team being an independent body within the larger Finance Department, maintaining a good relationship with the Streams who were our stakeholders was always a high priority to her, healthy disagreement was in order as she believed discourse to be an important vehicle for change. Having a background as an auditor herself, Dóra shined most during the annual external audits when she would go the extra mile to ensure a satisfactory outcome for the GSSC. Then and throughout her tenure Dóra would always have the interests of the GSSC and the organization in mind and made her decisions in the same spirit." (UN GSSC, Finance, Quality Assurance, team member)

Feedback: "Dora is an experienced QA professional, meticulously organized, she tirelessly drives the QA agenda and solidly manages her QA team to deliver findings and analysis which has greatly supported the finance sections in its delivery of a quality service. She is conscientious, proactive and dependable, pushes for improved delivery and enhanced outputs. She is mature in her approach and can be relied upon to act in a professional and ethical manner in alignment with UNICEF Core Values. She interacts well with her colleagues and is respected for her collaborative approach and technical knowledge. (UN GSSC, Finance Section, Chief)
